Privacy at Jochitek

This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Jochitek is the data fiduciary for this information under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Enquiries through “Chat on WhatsApp”

The “Chat on WhatsApp” button asks for your name and WhatsApp number and, if you wish, your company and a short message. When you continue, this website stores those details, the page you were on and the time on Jochitek’s own server and emails them to [email protected] so that we can reply. We use them only to respond to your enquiry and discuss the work you have asked about. You provide them voluntarily for that purpose; we do not use them for anything else. Nothing is stored if you close the dialog before continuing.

At the same time WhatsApp opens on your device with your message ready to send. Nothing is sent in WhatsApp until you press send there; from then on that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy, and we receive your number with the chat.

Email

The email link opens your email application; this website does not send the email for you. If you write to us, we receive what you include and use it to respond to your enquiry. Please do not include passwords or confidential customer information in an initial message.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not lead to a project is deleted twelve months after we received it, automatically, together with the notification email. If we start working together, your details move into the project records under our agreement with you.

Who else handles it

Our server is hosted by Hetzner. Notification emails and the [email protected] mailbox are provided by Google Workspace. Cloudflare sits in front of the website and may process the technical information needed to serve and protect it, such as connection and request information. Each of them acts on our instructions. We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or give it to anyone else.

Analytics and optional tracking

This website may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It does not use cookies and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. No advertising trackers or third-party media embeds are added. Fonts are served with the website.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for a summary of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, or ask us to erase it. You can also withdraw your enquiry, which we treat as a request to erase, and you can name another person to make these requests for you. Write to [email protected] or message +91 88071 88528 from the email address or WhatsApp number you gave us, so that we know the request is yours. We reply within ten working days and never later than the ninety days the law allows.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information or your request, tell us first at [email protected] and we will try to put it right. If you are still unhappy, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen, and we do not track or profile visitors.
